challenging your thinking

How about trying this for a couple of weeks?

Every time you are about to do something that will take a considerable amount of time and effort ask yourself:

  • “Why am I doing this?”
  • “Why does this need to be done?”

This should not take up much time at all but if you ask yourself these two questions consistently for a couple of weeks you are likely to:

  1. Save yourself a lot of time
  2. Generate some neat ideas about how things could be done better
